Is it possible to have an internet business without your own hosted website? Of course. But when you work with local businesses, you need to provide them with a self-hosted website and their own domain name. By doing so, you get to offer a host of services to your clients. Most of which you can provide yourself. You can also out-source it many parts of it.
Car Rental In Kota Kinabalu Website
One of my latest project is Car Rental Kota Kinabalu. They are an established business in the rent a car industry. They also had an existing website but since that wasn't doing very much for them, they asked me to re-do their website in Wordpress.
Now, normally this would not be an issue as I focus solely on Wordpress websites. The problem is, do you know how many car rental themes are available? JUST ONE. It took me about 2 weeks before I managed to get the theme working consistently. This was a theme that handled online booking and is designed to work with car rentals. I happened to think it looked beautiful and that made it worthwhile to iron out the kinks in it so to speak.
The only other option was to use plugins to handle the booking function. But that ended up costing more than $300 per year due to the functionality we needed. Add that to my usual fees and we had to find another option.
