Free Monthly Websites

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Free Monthly Websites 2.0 has just been relaunched by Dave Nicholson and John Thornhill, two internet marketers from the U.K.

So What Is Free Monthly Websites 2.0?
It is a Free membership site that gives you 1 free niche website a month. The admin panel is designed to be user-friendly or newbie-friendly. It uses a WYSIWYG interface, you type in the content for each page or post and that is basically it. The admin panel is also where you input your theme settings, SEO settings and Advert settings. All in all, it looks like a easy to use, fully functional website.

The membership site has a download page where you can download your website. If you need help on setting up your website, there are videos that explain the entire process.

Why Is Free Monthly Websites 2.0 .... Free?
Of course there is an upsell when you first log in, and a down-sell. But you don't need to upgrade if you don't want to. It works without the upgrades.

What Can You Do With Free Monthly Websites 2.0?
Here’s how you can get the most out of Free Monthly Websites. After you have downloaded your website follow the tutorials which is very easy to do and upload your website. You will be presented with a Adsense website. Well to be frank, the free website has duplicate content so you can rule out getting to the top of the search engine rankings.

Ways To Generate Income
  1. It is a Adsense niche website.
  2. Use to promote affiliate products on the same niche.
  3. Use it to build a list.

The Pros
  1. Easily to set up, user-friendly interface, comes with PLR content.
  2. Adsense and adverts ready.
  3. It's Free.

The Cons
  1. You need to upload to your web server.
  2. Not original PLR content. You still need to create your own content.
  3. As with any website, there are work involved - creating content, generate traffic, etc.

This is an affiliate link that will take you to your free website.

Speedlings Not For Me

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

I have only just heard about Speedlings.com, mainly because of someone I met on Facebook. Upon reading up on what Speedlings is about, all I can do is shake my head. For the record, I have not experienced or joined the program, I have no hands-on experience with it. I am not disparaging it, for all I know people may actually have success with it.

The reason why Speedlings bothers me is the entry cost into this program. At a minimum it is at least USD6,000, and you have to spend a few hundred bucks more for new domains every month. I read from various websites, including Warrior Forum that it takes up to USD12,000 a year to run the program if you follow their recommendations. From what I can gather, you need to build at least 30 websites per month, every month. The idea is to have thousands of affiliate websites on the internet owned by you. the goal is to earn USD1 per day per website, while at the same time, no guarantee of income is given.

To be fair, they do have a performance guarantee which I won't go into here. You can read about it at the Warrior Forum for Speedlings Review.

No, what boggles my mind is why go through the effort of building 1,000 websites to make USD1.00 per day? So what if it only takes 5 minutes and the process is automated. For that kind of money, you can buy a few established websites from Flippa and work to make them authority sites. You can also build a few quality websites for that kind of money. It is not about volume, it's about quality. Managing a few quality websites makes more sense than owning 1,000 websites (which by the way you don't really own, it's the way Speedlings is set up I guess). With the program, you can't even flip your website if you choose to.

The program sells itself as a business, but the thing is you don't own anything even after you have spent USD10,000 or USD20,000. What's the advantage in that? My opinion is: Buyers Beware.

What Is Auto Mass Traffic

Sunday, October 3, 2010

Auto Mass Traffic has generated quite a lot of interest when it launched. On the salespage, it says you are buying a software for USD37 that will generate traffic to your website in 3 simple steps. As sales letter goes, this one is really nice, and a lot of people have said they are ready to buy but would like more information first.

That is the problem with salespages, it is 30 pages of fluff that does not tell you what exactly you are buying, how it works and what business model it is based on. In this case, what the traffic generating method it is based on.

Just from reading the salespage, many people (myself included) reckoned that this was a free traffic method. It isn't. It also does not say Free Traffic on the salespage.

Let me also state that I did not buy this product, and I am not an affiliate of this product. I do not have first hand knowledge of Auto Mass Traffic, and I have no intention of purchasing this software.

Here are the reasons why:
1) It does not deal with Free Traffic. It deals (from what information I can gather) with paid traffic, just not PPC traffic from the search engines.

2) You can buy the software for USD27, BUT you will need to pay another USD67 for additional tools, AND pay some more money to follow the program as directed.

3) The software isn't automated.

My Sources Of Information
1.) http://hubpages.com/hub/automasstrafficsreview-automasstrafficscam
2.) http://www.moneymakerdiscussion.com/forum/wh-download-section/31817-get-auto-mass-traffic.html

I am not saying Auto Mass Traffic is a scam, from what I can see it isn't. I managed to look at some files from source no. 2, and it does provide you with good, detailed information on how to use the Auto Mass Traffic system. It is also an education in CPV, one of the methods they use. So if this is what you want to do, then this is for you. Just be aware of what you are buying, and find out the traffic generation methods first. This system only works if you have to money to pay for traffic.

No more Giveaways Events

Thursday, September 30, 2010

Having view a number of Giveaway Events, I think this is it for now. Unless the contributors are established in the internet marketing community, it is a waste of time. Even for total newbies, I am not convinced that Giveaways are beneficial. Yes, there are many resources in the Giveaways that are useful, but most of it is rehashed. And worse, many contributors are new to internet marketing themselves. For example, the same ebooks being offered by multiple contributors. There are just too many of them.

I've said it and I'll say it again. If contributors can't put together a lead capture page, who's going to want to subscribe to your list? While there are some with some good offers, the majority are just.......

For myself, I've found that only about 1% are really useful. That is I only download 4 ebooks from close to 500 contributors. Would you believe the contributors do not check their copy? What is Adsence?

By the way, who is going to download 500 wordpress themes? Are you kidding me? People, there is just too much junk on the internet these days.

Ultimate Blogging Giveaway Review

Friday, August 13, 2010

Having joined Stephanie Mulac's Ultimate Blogging Giveaway today, I spend the afternoon going through the products in the giveaway. On the first glance, it was quite impressive, there are almost 50 pages of products from contributors. On closer inspection, some of the products are given away by multiple contributors. Still, there remained a lot of interesting downloads about blogging. Some of these came with Private Label Rights, others came with Master Resell Rights.

So I thought I would just pick a few products that interest me, and what do you know? Some internet marketers forgot their opt-in form and they were trying to tell people to subscribe to their list. Others probably pasted the html code, but the opt-in form was not showing up on the page. I found it amusing more than anything and I am left wondering who this people thought they were kidding.

I do not support the fake until you make it school of thought. There is nothing wrong with starting out as a newbie, we have all been there and done that. Just don't try to fake it, even reading the copy doesn't sound natural. Be yourself, set up your website that reflects your passions and just go with the flow. You will get more done that way and people will not be laughing at you.

Anyway, back to the giveaway, there are some nice downloads, and some duds. But if you got nothing to do, take a look at it. It is good for a laugh anyway. The link is here, Ultimate Blogging Giveaway.

Unfortunately, this giveaway isn't managed well and I am kinda disappointed that this was Stephanie Mulac's giveaway. She ought to know better.

Ultimate Blogging Giveaway

Thursday, August 12, 2010

The Ultimate Blogging Giveaway has just opened it's doors. It is live with over 400 plus FREE blogging and internet marketing gifts inside. The line up of gifts are geared towards blogging and related to the blogging topics.

Some of the topics covered:
1. Wordpress Training
2. Driving traffic
3. Blog Themes
4. Wordpress Plugins
5. Affiliate Marketing
6. Graphics
7. Copywriting
8. PLR & Blog Posting Content

This event by Stephanie Mulac will be closing after 15 days. So I suggest you get a move on it. The giveaway is free, and when you sign up, you will be presented with One Time Offers. I was tempted but did not take up on the offer, although some of products were very interesting. Personally, I like the wordpress themes she offered. The OTO doesn't cost much, it just wasn't right for me at the moment. But that's me.

The way Giveaway works is that you sign up for it. Then you download the products you fancy, but before you can download, you will have to opt-in at the contributor's website in order to receive your gifts. I have seen some of the products, and it contains ebooks, audio, email courses, software and PLR products.

The giveaway website as you would expect is nicely done, it is after all, Stephanie Mulac. Although, there were 2 contributors who seems to have forgotten to put their opt-in form in their sign-up page! New internet marketers maybe:) well I guess we should give them the benefit of the doubt.

Here is the link for The Ultimate Blogging Giveaway. Just click on it and you can start downloading your gifts right away.
